Wilson’ s Promontory or “Wilsons Prom” as we like to call it is a place you’ll want to visit. From the moment you enter through it’s gates, you will immediately realise how special this place is. From extensive granite mountains to pristine white beaches and endless sand dunes, the park has a lot to offer for outdoor enthusiasts.

It’s the ultimate road trip that eventually leads to Tidal River camp ground, the perfect base for exploring the area. Whether you tackle the top of Mount Oberon, wander through the rainforest at Lilly Pilly Gully or visit the incredible red boulders at Squeaky Beach, this place is jaw dropping.

The only place to find food in Wilsons Prom is at Tidal River.

The General Store has a small supermarket where campers and visitors can grab basic supplies. There is also a take away store attached where you can grab pies, sandwiches, burgers and other easy food.

If you are planning a day out, a packed lunch is a great idea, especially when you have some of the most incredible scenery to enjoy it in front of.

Other options include stopping in the town of Yanakie just before the Prom gate entrance. There is a small general store here and also Wilsons Prom Pizza Restaurant.
