Hello and welcome to Getabout Gippsland

Hi, my name is Melinda, but all my friends call me Mel.

Having blogged about my worldly travel over the years and also working as a travel consultant, I’m now keen to set me sights closer to home. With South Gippsland having so much natural beauty and incredible places to visit , it’s a match made in heaven.

I’ve lived in the heart of South Gippsland most of my life, moving from the suburbs of Melbourne to country living as a young child.

Growing up in Gippsland has been the best experience ever, with fond memories of so many great things to do. From hiking and camping for three days in Wilsons Promontory to summer days on Inverloch’s surf beach, it’s been a blast. So the more I experience, the more I want to share all that is wonderful.
