about
Korumburra is one of South Gippslands bigger towns, with Commercial Street being the main area for shopping and dining. The prime attraction in town is Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, an historic coal mining village. It showcases the town’s rich mining era, dating back to the 1870’s. Run as a community effort, the park is free to visitors.
You’ll find a plenty of boutique shops to explore, the popular Burra Brewery, as well as botanical gardens and walking tracks. The Great Southern Rail Trail is also here, conveniently located right off the main street next to the towns historic train station.
