Meeniyan’s existence has well and truly evolved over the years, from an relative unknown small country village among farming land to a place of regular and lively calendar events. In particular, the annual Meeniyan Garlic Festival of food, family fun, displays and entertainment draws thousands of visitors to the area. You’ll also find many live bands as well as solo artists coming to town to perform at the local community hall throughout the year.

It is the town’s passionate and thriving community of people who have worked hard to elevate Meeniyan’s status to the entertainment capital of South Gippsland.

Trulli: located in Meeniyan Square, the Italian inspired business is a restaurant, bake house and gelateria. Visitors can enjoy a range of local produce in the undercover outdoor area.
