Port Albert

Port albert

The quaint little seaside fishing village of Port Albert is the perfect weekender. Soak up the laid back atmosphere and spend time wandering along the water’s edge, or grab your fishing rod and try your luck at a tasty catch.

about

Port Albert is located on the outer fringes of South Gippsland, and has a rich history that dates back to the early 1840’s when it was first established as a seaport. Even today, the town remains a commercial fishing port and sees fishing and boating enthusiasts flocking to the region during summer months. For those keen to get out on the water, you will find the local fishing charter heading out in search of kingfish, whiting and snapper.

For those not so keen to while away the day on one of the local jetty’s, there is still plenty of other great ways to spend your time here. Or if it’s relaxation you prefer, there is no better place than Port Albert to rejuvenate the mind and body.
